As President of Beatles Ireland fan club and on behalf or all our members, I would like to send our heart felt sympathies to Olivia and Dhani, their families, friends and to the relatives living here in Ireland. It is a very sad day for all of us and very hard to try and express how upset we are at this time .We can reflect on so many happy and wonderful memories George has given us over the years through his music and lifestyle to help us through this hard time. We are very proud of George’s Irish heritage and his many visits to Ireland over the year. The people of Ireland loved him, were proud of him, and will remember him in their prayers Bless you George where ever you are.

Regret to hear the passing of one of the world's greatest musicians, the quiet Beatle I'm sure he's now at "peace" (his most favourite word)

George

You provided the soundtrack of my life with your beautiful, beautiful music. You gave the world such positive energy with your emphasis on love, your sharp wit, your songs, your musicianship, your films.
Whilst so many will be sad at your passing, no doubt you are now happy and at peace with God whom you always loved. Although very sad, I am happy for you. I wish I'd known you personally.
Love and condolences to all who knew and loved you.

Dear all at BeatlesIreland

My condolences to you on the loss of a legend.
I'll be honest and say that I only discovered the Beatles at 11 when John Lennon was murdered. I had no idea that he had been in a group with that guy out of Wings! I learned very quickly who the Beatles were, discovering great pop music and intricate music and lyrics. Sgt Peppers was the first CD I bought after getting a new CD player in the late 80s.
I've listened to a lot of Beatles music since. "Something" was always a favourite.
The Man may be gone, the music and the legend will live on.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a Anam.
Caroline O'Connell

I would like to offer my condolences to the late George Harrison's wife and son. May he rest in peace. He will always be remembered in Ireland and I'm sure around the world, for his great music and or the enjoyment he gave us all.
God bless you George.
